How do you photograph weddings?

We love being by your side to help you plan before your wedding day and build a timeline that includes your must-have moments. On your wedding day, we want to capture the atmosphere, moods, emotions, calm and emotional moments as they arise, and all the details that make your wedding unique. We'll work with you on creating a timeline that allows for the best photographic opportunities without sacrificing your wedding day experience.

 

Do you have a second shooter at weddings?

As a husband-and-wife team, Jess and I work closely together to capture every moment of your day. Jess is almost always by my side, assisting with portraits, lighting, posing, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. During ceremonies and receptions, she supports me as a second photographer, but primarily transitions into a lighting assistant role during portraits and family formals to help perfect each shot.

 

That said, depending on the coverage you need, I may bring an additional second photographer or associate shooter to ensure we capture every angle and moment seamlessly. If your wedding requires a dedicated second photographer, we offer that as an add-on to our packages.

 

Where are you based, and do you travel?

We are currently based in Boston, Massachusetts, and we love to travel! There are no travel fees in New England and Colorado & Texas. However, depending on where your wedding or engagement story will be photographed, we may need to add a travel fee. But don't worry; we always try to find the most affordable way to travel because we love to help make your special day memorable.

 

When will we get our photos?

You will receive an online gallery link with your photos within a maximum of 8 weeks for weddings and three weeks for engagement sessions (sometimes less, depending on the season we photograph your story). You can download all the images from the gallery, share them, choose your favorites, and even order prints!

 

How much do you charge?

Our wedding packages start at $3400, and engagement sessions start at $650

What if we don't feel natural in front of a camera?

As introverts, Jess and I relate to you in this matter, but don't worry. We strive to specialize in guidance, helping you feel at ease and relaxed. As with any good friendship, the more we get to know each other, the easier it will be to forget the camera is even there.

 

Do you offer payment plans?

We understand that arranging a wedding involves financial planning as well. We ask for a 30% retainer as the initial payment to reserve your date, and the remainder of the balance can be divided into payments. We will discuss what schedule works best for you and send automatic reminders when a payment is due to update you as your date draws near.
